NBA All-Star Weekend 2019 in Charlotte, NC

The NBA All-Star Weekend is the mid-season break for the NBA regular season. They have events Friday, Saturdy and leads up to the NBA All-Star Game Sunday. That Sunday is a pick up game with most gifted basketball players to ever live. Only once a year will you see them on the same floor competing. 
The Dates are Feb. 15 - 17, 2019 in Charlotte, NC!
Most everything will take place at the Spectrum Center where the current Charlotte Hornets NBA team play with Michael Jordan as the owner.

There will be free stuff for kids of all ages in and around the arena including Epicentre.
NBA All-Star at Epicentre will escort visitors through a narrative that brings to life the music, fashion, art, technology and entertainment that surround today’s game. Fans will have the unique opportunity to engage with the league through customized experiences and NBA partner activations including interactive basketball activities, art and memorabilia displays, apparel customization and panel discussions with NBA players and talent.

On February 17, 2019, roundabout the league’s greatest performers head to Charlotte, North Carolina for the all-time best NBA All-Star Game… and you can, too. The royals of the NBA are coming to the Queen City for the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend Feb. 15-17, 2019. The game is famous for its spirited and redemptive nature that allows players to sort bold moves, often attempting slam dunks and alley-oops. The night before the big game(16 Feb,19), troupes take part in the Skills Challenge that shows off players' ball-handling, passing and shooting ability, the Three-Point Contest, and the Slam Dunk Contest.
Whether you're a basketball devoted or a universal sports fan, NBA All-Star Weekend is different from any other event: a weekend of close-up skills and free-form fun with the greatest players in the game. Don't miss out on the basketball experience of a generation - make the trip to Charlotte, NC!
All patrons are subject to search and there is no re-entry. In addition large bags, backpacks, etc. are prohibited.

Video cameras, audio recorders and laser pointers are prohibited at all Bojangles’ Coliseum events.
No food, beverage, or containers may be brought into the Bojangles’ Coliseum. You’ll find a great selection of tasty food and drink available at our concession stands
No weapons are allowed on Bojangles’ Coliseum property.
No smoking is permitted on the grounds or in the building.
Some Bojangles’ Coliseum events may exclude the possession of tobacco products.

These items include but are not limited to:

Large Banners and Flags: Spectators are not permitted to use or wave flags, banners, signs or other items that are affixed to any pole or stick made of wood, metal, plastic or any other hard material and that is more than 18 inches in length. Teams are also prohibited from providing such items to fans either by sale or giveaway
Whistles and Horns. Whistles, foghorns/airhorns and plastic horns, such as vuvuzelas and didgeridoos
Laser Pointers. Laser pointers or any similar devices
Optical Illusions. Items intended to create optical illusions or interfere with the ability of the eye to perceive depth or distance, such as pinwheels or umbrellas
Weapons (including guns and knives)
Cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, cigars, vape pens and pipes
Aerosol cans
Fireworks
Frisbees
Beverages
Mace or Pepper Spray
Poles, selfie-sticks, missile-like objects that can be thrown
Strollers
Tripods
Umbrellas
Beach balls
Bats and clubs
Skateboards or Hoverboards
Illegal substances
Backpacks and duffle bags larger than 14”X14”X6” as well as any size suitcases are not permitted to enter the Spectrum Center. Tote bags, diaper bags and purses, smaller than 14”X14”X^” will be allowed. Please be advised that we DO NOT offer on-site storage for any type of bag.
